Job Description


Job Title: Administrative Assistant


Location: Emerald Park, SK


Reports To: Director Operations


Summary


Receive visitors to building, assist manager/ director with daily task, data entry and analyzing, creating spread sheets, documents, and power point presentations. Working with employees to on board. Resolve customer issues with clients. Invoicing, financial calculations, generating reports.


Qualifications


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Handling and assisting with document distribution and other administrative projects and responsibilities
  • Assist managers and directors with daily task.
  • Process new employees, create identifications cards, submit new hire information.
  • Generate weekly reports on productivity.
  • Write and respond emails on behalf of the organization.
  • Input and Analyze field data.
  • Organize, plan company, functions, programs, travel.
  • Handling and assisting with document distribution and other administrative projects and responsibilities.
  • Arranging and attending meetings as required.
  • Create word documents, spread sheets, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Relay employee issues and information to HR staff.
  • Helping company employees with internal and external research projects.
  • Manage Business programs, Phones packages,
  • Creating and maintain filing systems.
  • Facilitate customers with documents, certifications and information requested.

Education and/or Experience


One year certificate from university or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.


Mathematical Skills


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability


Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills


Proficient in Microsoft Office Software including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, Outlook.


Ability to learn and navigate new computer software quickly.
