Our client in Waterloo, is looking for an Accounting Clerk with 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, doing payables and receivables!

Job Duties:
- Administrative tasks as required to accomplish related duties
- HST/WSIB filling and reconciliation
- Order entry/acknowledgement
- Oversee and reconcile financial transactions
- Assist to month end closing process in accounts reconciliation
- Handling two ERP systems to keep accounting in short term
- Accounts payable - reconciliation, postings
- Dealing with shipping/ Sales to complete invoice accurately
- Dealing with vendors & customers to resolve the issues
- Accounts receivable - invoicing, payments, collections
- Produce consistent, accurate work with minimal errors
Required Skills:
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting framework
- A self-motivated desire to produce valuable work
- 5-10 years of experience in full-cycle accounting specifically payables and receivables
- An attitude that is hardworking and eager to learn
- A commitment to punctuality and dependability
- Data entry skills
- A passion for the core values that our foundation to our company
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Business Vision, etc.
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Associates degree with at least one year of related experience
- Professionalism and organization skills
- A keen attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and its functions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
