Accounting Assistant

Surrey, BC

12 month contract


Your new company:

Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a Real Estate Construction Company in Surrey, BC. We are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to join their team on a 12 month contract, with the potential to become permanent. This role is full time in office, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

Your new role:

  • Responding to internal and external inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Filing invoices for accounts payable, accounts receivable documents, bank statements and loan statements.
  • Organizing and maintaining records and filing systems. Maintaining office procedures and assisting in general office duties.
  • Providing support to accounting related duties such as entering Accounts Payable invoices and general journal entries.

What you will need to succeed:

To be successful in this position you need 1 years experience within an Administration or customer service role. You will have a good attitude, work ethic, cooperative and a team player.
