Zoobla Financial is currently looking to staff a part time Accounting / Bookkeeping position who will be working out of our Newmarket office.

About The Role

You will be a part of a dynamic organization and will enjoy work life balance with a flexible schedule. You will be recording sales, reconciling accounts, assuring the quality of financial information. In this role, you will be a part of a structure where professional growth is supported and highly promoted. Candidates with aspirations to grow into a CFO position are highly desired.

The Role Includes

• Tax Preparation.
• Reviewing and maintaining internal controls processes and systems.
• Payroll.
• Accounts payable/receivable.
• Preparation of sales report.
• Monitoring company accounts and conducting quarterly reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Processing expense reports.
• Preparing financial statements (e.g., balance sheet, P&L, statement of cash flows).
• Coordinate tech implementation with other departments.

The Ideal Person

• Excellent oral and written English required.
• You need to have an analytical mind and a strong problem-solver.
• You must be autonomous and able to build strong relationships with staff, Advisors, various Insurance Carriers and Management.
• You must collaborate with team members and take a client-centric approach to all incoming requests.
• The role requires a keen eye for attention to detail to ensure accurate records.

Must Have

• Tech-savviness with previous experience in QuickBooks

Preferable But Not Required

• CMA, CPA, CA, CGA or other Accounting Designation
• Corporate Tax Preparation Experience
