Atomic Cartoons Inc. is an award-winning animation studio with locations in Vancouver's Mt. Pleasant Animation District, Ottawa's Hintonburg neighborhood and LA. Since its inception over 20 years ago, Atomic Cartoons has created and produced numerous 2D and CG animation productions including Princess Power and Last Kids on Earth. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Create efficient builds for animation.
• Work closely with, and take direction from the Builds Supervisor to create and revise the characters and prop builds.
• Meet deadlines and quotas as assigned by Supervisor and production management.
• Innovate creative solutions to troubleshoot.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Ontario residents residing outside of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) are preferred for this role.
• Must have good creative vision and the ability to convey that vision through your work.
• Flexible, willing to learn, and be an enthusiastic and motivating team player.
• Experience with builds and rigging using Toonboom Harmony.
• Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
• A portfolio that includes examples of builds/rigs in Harmony is a must.
• Great attitude and willingness to learn are a must!
• Experience with builds and rigging using Toon Boom Harmony.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• 2D animation experience as a builds artist is an asset; preferably on an animated series or feature production.

START DATE: Sept 18, 2023
