Set-Up Technician


The Set-up Technician is responsible for the proper set-up of equipment for injection molding try-outs in a timely and safe manner. As well as providing support to the Manufacturing Department as required. This individual will comply with provincial and federal legislation, employee handbook guidelines, health and safety policies and ISO quality program and procedures.


Job Details:


  • Full-time, 8 hours (days/afternoon/nights rotational)

Qualifications:


  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time as well as bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms and/or legs
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
  • Report to work on time and as scheduled
  • Minimum high school diploma or experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in plastic injection molding in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • The capability and experience to operate a crane and forklift in a safe and responsible manner
  • Must be able to lift up to approx. 35 lbs
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, including using decimals, fractions, and an understanding of weights and measurements conversions
