12 Week Part Time Seo Internship

Salary: $20 per hour with 12 hours (2 days) per week (Work Hours between 10am- 4pm).

We are a fully remote agency, though you will have access to our office at King West (786 King St W, Toronto, ON M5V 1N6), if you prefer to work from there from time to time. Full time remote is available within Canada only, (must be willing to flexibly work Eastern-Standard Time Zone hours).

About You:

This is a part time, paid position. We’re looking to hire an intern into our growing SEO team. The internship lasts for 12 weeks and could provide opportunity for full time employment if a position is available. This person doesn’t need to have direct work experience in SEO but a little base knowledge would certainly help. The intern will have mentors that will work directly with the successful candidate on a growth path and provide continuous feedback. The intern will also be provided with a review for structured feedback at the end of the internship period.

You will be responsible for assisting with:

• Digital PR and authority building (white hat link building).
• Content / User Intent SEO analysis on small clients
• Task management and communication with the internal team as they relate to your specialization.
• Introduction to Technical SEO analysis, prioritization and execution strategy.

Qualifications and skills include:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Some basic technical SEO knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of content related recommendations and keyword research for SEO.
• Professional experience in some form.
• College, bachelor or higher degree preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
• Basic knowledge of technical SEO best practices.

Bonus points if you have:

• Any professional experience in marketing.
• Basic coding knowledge including HTML, JS, CSS, or any backend experience is a huge plus but not required.
