Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

The Part-Time Academic will be responsible for teaching section 06 of Differential & Integral Calculus I ( MATH 1000.03) in the upcoming fall term (contract dates September 1 to December 31).

The topics to be covered in the course are available from the Department Chair. Course descriptions are provided in the Undergraduate Calendar published online (https://academiccalendar.dal.ca) by the Registrar’s Office, Dalhousie University.

Qualifications/Requirements Of Position

A combination of M.Sc. degree in Mathematics or Statistics and previous teaching experience is required. Completion of a PhD or PhD in progress is considered an asset. The successful applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of the subject matter. Experience teaching large classes or direct experience of teaching this class is considered an asset.
