Specific industry experience in energy, infrastructure, utilities, joint ventures, subsidiaries, government, non-profits, or public administration desirable

Extensive knowledge of IFRS accounting policies and procedures

At least 8 years post qualification experience, including experience of working with US GAAP.

Senior Financial Analyst Mandatory Skills

Work closely with Business Units and the Tax team to support the preparation of the legal entity financial statements.

Support legal entity statement review and audit engagements with client’s external auditors, as required.

1-3 years minimum progressive work experience.

Experience extracting and analyzing data from a data warehouse or another OLAP technology

Working knowledge of accounting, economic, statistical data and processes

Ability to manage work flow and multiple requests, while meeting deadlines and managing expectations

Drive the financial reporting process to include the integration of the strategy planning process in the operation budget process

Identify, build and maintain financial reporting including models and templates using a documented, auditable, and logical process.

Manage month end trade spend accrual management and monthly closure to ensure financial accuracy

A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive finance planning and/or accounting experience preferred

Conduct Month Business Review with Division Head and Product Managers

Experience with an ERP systems (preferably SAP) an asset
