Reviews information, determines test(s) requirements, and conducts/processes transactions and exams inside the DriveTest Centre.

Creates a calm, professional, and supportive environment that enables applicants to perform to the best of their abilities.

Captures applicant photos, administers vision tests to ensure minimum requirements are met, and provides referrals to vision specialists.

Conducts and processes knowledge tests, dispatches road test appointments, provides results, issues temporary driver’s licences, and processes licensing changes.

Must have at least four (4) years driving experience, verified based on “date first licenced” indicated on the Ontario driver’s licence.

1-4 years of customer service experience in a service environment is preferred to include, but not limited to:

Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills are necessary.

Ability to work from home offering a strong internet signal, and uninterrupted, secure workspace.

Conduct outbound Customer calls to ensure post-sale satisfaction and offer cross-sell opportunities.

Liaise with store managers, district and regional staff as required to resolve customer inquiries and concerns.

Minimum of at least 1 years’ experience in a customer service environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Degree or diploma in Business, Retail, or Management, specialty related to department (e.g., design, appliances), or in a related field

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).

Experience using PerfectMind/Xplor Recreation software would be an asset.

Knowledge of the City of Guelph Recreation programs, services and facilities.

Experience working within a Recreation environment would be an asset (i.e. Summer Camps, Aquatics, Recreation programming, etc.)

Maintain positive, open communication with participants, residents, visitors and other staff.

This position has a $1/hour premium added to any hours worked 6:00 PM-6:00 AM.
