Web Application QA Jobs

Under direction from management, taking functional requirements and technical specifications and planning out development tasks.

Experienced at planning and leading development tasks, strong time management focus and able to work independently in a disciplined manner.

Will detail all task descriptions and status updates via the Project Management console.

Special projects – as required by management.

Working with other team members, will identify and take part in discussions of functional requirements for new functionality / enhancements.

Research activities – will be involved in researching new technologies and solutions that we may wish to offer for viability.

2- 5 years of experience

Excellent verbal and written communication and proven interpersonal skills

Design and develop client and server-side web-based applications

JavaScript (ECMAScript 6), CSS, WebSockets, HTML, NodeJS, Python, Linux, SQL

Front-end build systems such as webpack

Creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces

Lead and drive all activities to integrate real and near-real time capabilities between new core products and other applications

Must have at least 8 years of experience

7+ years of experience working on web development (Preferably in Angular)

6+ experience with web development – Angular, Jquery, KondoUI, API, .NET Core, MongoDB and/or MySQL

4+ with cloud technologies – AWS or Azure.Experience working with integrating interconnected systems such as microservices

Solid understanding of and hands on experience with CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles

Experience in software testing including Web application and REST API testing.

Skills in frontend languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Experience in frontend framework such as Angular is an asset.

Skills in scripting languages such as Python, PHP is an asset.

Execute feature and bug fix testing for website GUI using a combination of manual and automated testing techniques.

Automate front-end testing using Selenium(Or other automated testing tools).

Candidate must have 3+ years of experience designing and implementing web application solutions

Proven experience in C# development and/or Salesforce customization

Knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration

Familiarity with Canadian currency and regulations, and experience working with Canadian vendors is a plus

Excellent analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

Assist in the creation of new web applications, in order to drive the business forward

Working knowledge of user experience design principles.

Working knowledge of modern web stack

Act as the lead front end designer, supporting applications and systems including branding.

Make recommendation on the features and functionality of support system, SPARK’s digital presence and resource hub.

BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math, or equivalent experience

Prior professional experience in web and mobile programming or testing highly desired

Experience with web and mobile frameworks, such as Node.js or Flutter, highly desired

Media experience (video, audio, graphics and image or signal processing applications) highly desired

Experience with Python highly desired

Experience testing on iOS or Android

Proficiency in Next JS: Demonstrated experience working with Next JS and React, with 2-3 years of practical experience.

• Working directly with account managers on assigned client projects within PHP

• A minimum of 3 years of experience within a similar role

• Experience with technologies such as or similar to Laravel, Vue.js, React.js, MySQL, Docker, Node.js, and Git

Find vulnerabilities in software and proprietary applications.

Minimum 6 years’ experience conducting cyber assessments including, Web App, Internal, Mobile, and API.

Certifications such as OSCP, GWAPT, GPEN, and OWSE are desirable.

Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, and Javascript.

Conduct Web Application, Mobile, and API penetration tests.

Provide subject matter expertise on offensive security to stakeholders.
