Job Description

Penetration Tester – Mobile & Web Application: - Remote, Canada


A cyber security consultancy based out of Canada is looking for an experienced Web Application Penetration Tester to add to their security team. The company has been in operation for 15 years and operates globally with offices in London, Vancouver, and Las Vegas.



Role of the Web Application Pen Tester:


  • Conduct Web Application, Mobile, and API penetration tests.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on offensive security to stakeholders.
  • Social engineering to be able to recognize areas for improvement in security awareness
  • Find vulnerabilities in software and proprietary applications.
  • Lead client workshops about penetration testing and possible remediations.



Required Skills:


  • Have the ability to review existing codebases.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience conducting cyber assessments including, Web App, Internal, Mobile, and API.
  • Experience with scripting and programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, and Javascript.
  • Familiar with iOS or Android systems.
  • Able to write Penetration Testing reports.
  • Certifications such as OSCP, GWAPT, GPEN, and OWSE are desirable.
