Truss Shop Team Member Jobs

· Strong problem-solving skills to resolve incomplete, ambiguous project requirements, errors, or omissions within blueprints.

· Superior knowledge of computer design software (AutoCAD, MiTek Saffire, I struct)

· Strong oral and written communication skills in English are required for this position

· Advanced blueprint (architecture, structural, and mechanical) reading skills.

· Comprehensive knowledge of rough framing and the construction process.

Edmonton, AB T6V 1H8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Designing truss' that conform to building requirements and codes

Previous experience in a similar job

1 year of prior experience within the construction industry

Knowledgeable in the construction industry

Knowledgeable in working with design software

Must maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all information related to company finances and records, particularly, cost of goods purchased and sold

4-6 years Truss Design experience

Roof and floor trust experience required

4 to 6 years of experience in truss designing

Excellent knowledge of truss design principles and practices

Knowledge of building codes and regulations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

2 to 5 years of experience in truss designing

Excellent knowledge of truss design principles and practices

Design, modify, and analyze truss designs using engineering software
