We are seeking a highly skilled remote Truss Designer to join our team. As a Truss Designer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and analyzing truss designs based on customer specifications and building codes. You will work closely with our sales team to ensure that designs are accurate and meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with sales team to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all designs meet building codes and customer specifications
• Provide accurate and timely estimates for customers
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes to building codes
• Design, modify, and analyze truss designs using engineering software

Requirements:

• Proficiency in engineering software such as MiTek, Simpson Strong-Tie or other software
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• 4 to 6 years of experience in truss designing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Candidates must be located in Canada
• Excellent knowledge of truss design principles and practices
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
