Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and/or electric motors

Prepares work schedules and handles service calls to meet customer needs and ensure that equipment is available as required.

At least 5 years of experience in a functional management role, at a manager level

Negotiation and contract management skills; demonstrated ability in negotiating transportation services and managing strategic supplier relationships with national/regional partners

Project management skills; demonstrated ability to execute the implementation of complex projects involving change management and process improvements

Foster a cohesive team unit and manage the talent pipeline to enable organizational capabilities

Bachelor’s degree in business management (operations, logistics, supply chain), engineering, or a related field (required)

Lead the Eastern Canada Transportation team in defining and executing its mandate to drive cost-to-serve efficiencies while meeting customer experience expectations

3 to 5 years’ experience working on environmental issues or public policy with government or an NGO

Deep understanding of environmental issues including climate change solutions and impacts and demonstrated experience working on issues-based campaigns
