Graduation from an accredited institute program in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Technology or Technician with OACETT Certification is considered an asset.

5+ years of relevant design/drafting experience in consulting and/or Energy environment is considered an asset.

0 to 3 months experience in a warehouse setting

6 months machine operation experience, preferred

Review all special instructions and check lists prior to production

Understand the expected duties of temporary associates

Visually inspect all equipment to ensure they are in safe and operational condition

Package finished goods for sale to the customer

People management and leadership experience, overseeing 1 to 3 Developers

Manage 4 to 6 developers, including performance management and career development

Work with Test Lead to determine and prioritize the requirements for test automation as well as providing feedback on test plans

Experience working on and delivering enterprise grade software in an Agile environment, specifically web applications utilizing web service APIs.

Strong experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3 and related web technologies like Sass/Less, AJAX and JSON

Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming

Knowledge of and ability to comply with the quality control & inspection requirements of the Service Dept.

Communicate parts requirements for job completion via repair orders.

Transmission Technician – $39.43 per hour + Benefits – Sudbury, ON

Diagnose vehicle situations, focusing particularly on transmission issues.

Perform vehicle maintenance and/or repairs on transmissions and other components.

·The ability to document and track project tasks and related design documents is required (strong organizational skills)

·10+ years of related engineering experienceis considered an asset

·Previous experience in the design of transmission lines is mandatory

·Consulting engineering experience is an asset

Monitor and maintain the project schedule and budgets within your area of responsibility and report status on a regular basis

·Mentor and provide technical support to team members

1-3 plus years of transmission line engineering experience is an asset

Experience within a Transmission and Distribution Industry in EPC/EPCM organization designing transmission lines utilizing PLS–CADD/PLS-TOWER/PLS-POLE is an asset

Knowledge of electrical aspects of power transmission system

Knowledge of transmission line materials (structures, conductors/OHSW, OPGW/ADSS, insulators, hardware accessories and fittings)

Direct experience on the safety aspects of the design of high voltage transmission lines

Construction support experience for Transmission projects

Supporting the management in planning, business development, proposal, performance evaluations and appraisals

Utility-specific knowledge and safety requirements

8 plus years of transmission line engineering experience is required

Proven experience within a Transmission and Distribution Utility or EPC organization designing transmission lines utilizing PLS–CADD/PLS-TOWER/PLS-POLE is required

Modelling, analyse and design transmission line structures using PLS-TOWER, PLS-POLE

Support business development and proposals including preparing Man hour estimate

Prepare transmission line specifications, standards

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients, and external agencies

Coordinate design activities to ensure installation and operations will comply with specifications, codes, and client requirements.

Familiar with industry codes and standards and have experience as the technical lead on projects.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and instruction to less experienced staff members.

Develop, mentor, and direct small teams about project tasks and technical requirements.

Work closely with project managers and the director of engineering to support resourcing/staffing of the projects.

Knowledge of brewing operations (theory & application), cost management and LEAN concepts

Interprets production plan schedule requirements, and works with the teams to organize team members and equipment/material resources to execute the plan.

Applies working knowledge of brewing process to guide the teams in enacting improvements.

Knowledge of relevant hygiene, food safety, health and safety legislation (including environmental) including safe work practices
