Responsible for maintaining document management systems.

Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma certifications are a strong asset.

1-2 years’ experience as a QC Inspector or NDT Technician.

Previous experience in Quality inspection, auditing and testing.

Product or industry-specific experience is required.

Organizational, planning, time management and multi-tasking skills

Previous managerial experience in long-term care or community homecare preferred

Experience dealing with the cognitively impaired

Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and health care practices, as well as Knowledge in Infection Control Practices

Appropriate current certificate of competence from the Approved Institutions for the province

Registration or eligible for registration with the Approved Institutions for the province

Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and ability to work in a changing environment

Scheduling staff performance reviews and educational programs.

Graduate of post-secondary secretarial program and a minimum of three years progressively responsible secretarial experience in a health care setting preferred.

Demonstrated word processing skills (minimum typing speed of 50 WPM with appropriate level of accuracy).

Working knowledge of telephone systems, and general office equipment

Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.

Knowledge and demonstrated experience in one-one/group program planning, implementation and evaluation for both well and the cognitively impaired.

Participate in care conferences and other committees as required to assist in assessing needs of residents. Attends in-service education programs.

Successful completion of Restorative Care Education Training (RCET certificate) an asset (but not mandatory)

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in community health or a related field.

Training/certification specific to palliative care (i.e., Fundamentals, LEAP, CAPCE, etc.).

Strong assessment and decision-making skills.

Post-secondary education in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and procedures of accounting.

Strong prioritization, organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities; flexibility

Previous administrative experience in an office environment (e.g., knowledge of the formal and informal protocols and methods of supporting senior-level positions)

Manage office logistics for meetings, including invitations, minute taking, venue set-up, teleconference support, and follow up on action items

Manage calendars by scheduling meetings, making adjustments as necessary based on changing needs and priorities

Post-Secondary Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent experience

3 years’ experience in progressively responsible, related clerical/administrative positions

Demonstrated working experience with the elderly in a health care setting, knowledgeable with respect to their needs

Liaison with the Education Centre staff to print and program photo ID for all incoming learners for their Sunnybrook placement/rotation.

Provide photo ID service on site at the Education Centre for all incoming learners

Provides and generates reports to the Education Centre of learners and their assigned badge ID numbers.

Position will provide comprehensive support to the photo ID clerk in CG03 for cross coverage during sick days and vacation.

Keeps inventory of assigned photo ID, expiry of ID and restricted access.

Assign lockers to Surgery and Anesthesia learners. Maintains appropriate documentation. Audits locker rooms every six months.
