Tests and analyzes products such as concrete, aggregate and cement for plastic and hardened requirements

Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.

Fundamental knowledge of computer software (Windows, Word, Excel).

Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required to perform tests, investigations, research and/or process control

Documents results of tests and analyses

Prepares samples for use in processing materials, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures

Professional designation (eg. P.Eng. or PE) preferred or equivalent mix of education and experience.

Proven knowledge of the regulatory requirements and industry standards for renewable energy generation projects including solar, storage, and wind.

Works with contractors, vendors, internal and external collaborators to determine technical requirements for renewable projects.

Engineer with 6-8 years of experience in large scale renewable power projects, with a strong background in engineering and construction activities.

Outstanding decision making, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, demonstrating a strategic and objective approach to challenges and opportunities.

Strong leadership and interpersonal, technical, project planning and administration skills.

Ability to rapidly learn a wide variety of new technical skills including the MongoDB Database

Experience using or running databases (like MongoDB) as a developer or DBA

Recognize patterns, and optimally categorize and build links between related issues and projects

Genuine desire to help people succeed with our technology

Develop simple mobile applications using mobile and desktop technologies.

Develop an in-depth understanding of the MongoDB Realm and Atlas App Services platform features and architecture

Directly manages a team to oversee the delivery of the facility management platform for the end users' experience.

Supports the operations team with oversight on technical guidance for project management, capital planning and policy adherence.

Oversees all vendor management, delivery of service contracts and maintenance programs that are required at each property.

Represents management in dealing with tenants for the purpose of enhancing tenant and customer satisfaction and maintaining positive relations.

Oversees and prioritizes departmental tasks, and deadlines in relation to scheduled maintenance and inspection requirements.

Ensures that all materials and services purchased are authorized, cost-effective and obtained in appropriate quantities, managed within budget expectations.

Good communication, writing, organization, customer relation, public speaking and time management skills.

Technical knowledge of loss prevention codes (NFPA, FM, API, ASME, etc.) standards and industry practices preferred.

Demonstrate ability to work independently, as well as in concert with underwriters and managers and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Good familiarity with basic computer operations with knowledge of software programs such as Word and Excel.

Evaluating sprinkler systems, building addition, and fire alarm plan reviews and providing guidance to clients.

Engineering account reviews for underwriters, account/broker meetings, and presentations.

Systems engineering experience, including Linux performance, memory management, I/O tuning, configuration, security, networking, clusters, and troubleshooting

Customer management - prioritization of customer work and executive communications

Experience building and maintaining complex mission-critical production database systems

Understanding and experience with Cloud architectures specifically: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Storage engineering experience, including NAS, SAN, SSD, multi-pathing, and caching

Experience analyzing issues holistically, from the application tier through the database, down to the storage
