Tattoo Service Supervisor Jobs in Alberta

Post-secondary diploma and/or relevant technical education & working experience;

Ensure health and safety requirements are strictly adhered to, including meetings and toolbox inspections.

Primary liaison with the client to diagnose the scope and type of service required, including follow-up.

Clearly communicate the scope of service required to the shop foreman or technicians to ensure accurate and timely response.

Ensure that personnel are customer oriented, professional and adequately trained to perform their duties.

Must have strong computer skills, preferable with experience in excel and word. Sharepoint is an asset

Have at least 2 years of supervisory experience for teams of 5+ employees

Preferably have at least 2 to 3 years of experience with event set up

Equipment operation experience is an asset

Event Production & Planning: organizing plans (daily, weekly & monthly), working with and directing personnel to provide necessary service

Reviewing schedules to confirm appropriate staff levels

Supervisory experience in an industrial environment is a requirement.

Also requires knowledge of OH&S acts and regulations and equipment inspection requirements.

Requires Red Seal Journeyman level certification.

Position requires a thorough knowledge of maintenance and repair of Komatsu and other OEM equipment.

Ability to oversee and coordinate a large shop operation.

Understands the collective agreement, performance management and disciplinary processes and the principles of high performance leadership

Understand the warranty process and determine warrantable failure and determine 3rd party requirements and availability if required

Manage and measure technician productivity

Manage and determine manpower availability, allocate technicians as required and assign additional technicians if required

Understanding and knowledgeable in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and hazard Assessment

The desire to lead and manage people

Good computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office a must

Partner with Service Manager to scale and grow the service production team in support of company targets.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

Prior leadership experience in a service-focused industry preferred. Automotive expertise not required.

Able to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities, establish and achieve goals.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
