Systems Support Administrator Jobs

Perform basic networking troubleshooting (connectivity, pings, routing, etc.), as well as manage access control and the return material authorization (RMA) process;

You will deploy and support backend infrastructure including servers, storage, and firewalls; And manage infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud;

Tier 1 business help desk and service/incident management support experience

In-depth knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI)

Knowledge of OPS I&IT project management methodologies an asset

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Tracking reported problem, issue, or system failure using automatic incident management system and providing report daily

Automated incident management systems, logging calls, and provide resolution in a timely and efficient manner

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.

Communicate with local building management or any local facility supplier upon which local I.T. facilities depend.

A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Proven customer service mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.

Comply with and support ISO 27001 requirements.

Serve as the initial point of contact for the resolution of I.T. requests in a 600+ user environment.

The successful candidate will have system support analyst experience within Bell Canada, preferably in the Client Experience Technology Services area

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a system support analyst role managing large, complex, multi system solutions end to end.

Set goals and objectives with appropriate KPI’s with your team

Support and mentor team members

IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

Perform standard changes on HRIS using standard change management practices.

Translate business requirements into technical requirements.

Manage vendors related to our HRIS

Submit and manage the vendor ticket queue

Monitor and manage system events.

Manage roadmap and product backlog.

2 years of related experience preferred

Acts as the support contact for all business groups

Owns the escalation of incidents to resolutions including collaboration with internal andexternal resources

Develops and maintains strong customer focused relationships with all stakeholders

Resolves and completes assigned service incidents and requests

Creates and maintains technology documentation and processes for use by other team staff

Solid knowledge of Red Hat (Rhel 6,7,8)

Knowledge with Scripting (Perl, Shell, Python)

Ensure systems are performing efficiently and define their parameters based on characteristics of applications developed.

Participate in performance of studies on choice of software or equipment.

Monitor products and software. Develop and optimize definition of physical architecture of equipment used in operating the system.

Plan and coordinate installation of new releases of system, development, and application software, and communicate information to user groups.
