Surface Grinder Jobs

Minimum of 10 years experience in a petroleum engineering organization with a minimum of 5 years in project related work.

Interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work within a multidisciplinary team.

The main requirements for the facilities engineer will include:

Oversee and organize the planning, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and oil and gas facilities.

Troubleshooting problems with existing facilities.

Close coordination and follow-up with all related organizations are required to ensure the required surface facilities are installed on time.

Experience working in freight forwarding or supply chain management with foucs on surface and rail brokerage

Experience managing a team of coordinators focused on Surface Logistics

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Familiarity with transportation regulations and customs clearance processes

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and logistics software tools

1-3 years related experience preferably in the Aerospace Manufacturing sector

Post secondary education in a related trade

Operate acetylene torch for brazing tubes

Braze and apply brazing alloys & binders

Grade 12 or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.

Proven knowledge and experience of WHIMIS program is an asset.

Set up and operate grinding machines with expertise, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.

Manual tool grinding experience in machining or manufacturing environment an asset.

Completion of secondary school or equivalent.

Study job orders and interpret blueprints to determine machining operations to be performed

Verify dimensions of parts machined using micrometers, calipers and other precision measuring instruments

Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or work-piece in etching solution to remove unwanted portions

Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery

Experience : At least 1 year of Industrial experience in Stainless steel polishing, grinding, and metal fabrication.

Metal grinding experience is a must.

Monday to Friday - 7:00am to 4:30pm

Saturday - 7:00am to 12:00pm

Ensure components are cosmetically acceptable; ensure that dimensions meet customer requirements from process sheets and blueprints.

1+ years’ experience and/or training in a precision machining environment.

Experience with manual surface grinding.

Working in a precision machine shop is an asset in order for individuals to understand the requirements of tight tolerances.
