Troubleshoots, maintains, and monitors internal hardware, software, printers, plotters, and scanners.

Requires hardware support for both PC and Mac, software support.

Completed post-secondary education at the degree/diploma or certificate level in a relevant field

Hands-on execution experience with Google Workspace and supporting Windows PC Workstations is required

Ensure all incidents are responded to by performing root cause analysis, end user communication with resolutions including documentation and checklists.

Maintain and use help desk and RMM solutions to resolve issues and implement required changes and updates

Experience in Windows, Mac and Linux platforms and production management systems like Shotgun

Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer animation and/or Information Technology or equivalent professional experience

Minimum 1 year experience in a IT Technician role

Strong knowledge of PC hardware with a focus on visual/media systems

Experience in relevant software packages including Maya, Houdini, Nuke, VRay, Redshift, Arnold and other industry-specific software is considered an asset

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Superior customer service skills which include communicating with clients, service providers, team and manager, verbally and in writing

Escalate problems (when required) to the appropriate experienced technician

College diploma or certificate in IT or IT related program, or equivalent experience

Experience with Windows Operating Systems
