Preparing 2D structural drawings for concrete & steel structures with 3D modeling

Verify dimensions, and identify/scoping of structural work using point cloud as well as at Jobsites

Extended Healthcare Plan (Medical, Disability, Dental & Vision)

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in structural design with exceptional skills in the production and coordination of contract documents.

Candidate must be fluent in BIM 360, Revit and Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of specifications.

5+ years' experience working as a Structural Technologist

Knowledge and understanding of drawing standards, building sciences, current National Building Code of Canada, construction technologies and practices

Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills

Educational or work experience in drafting (specifically CAD), BIM modelling (Revit) and designing.

Good working knowledge and experience of drawing/model setup, project sheet setup, details etc.

Coordinate the varying responsibilities associated with managing and producing drawings for structural projects, including managing specific files and directories

Such other duties and responsibilities as Entuitive may assign to you from time to time

5-10 years of related experience drafting, designing, and modeling

Previous experience working as a BIM modeler/CAD technologist at a Structural engineering firm considered a strong asset.

Familiarity with and ability to work within a company quality management process

Working knowledge of applicable energy sector facility engineering codes and standards including

Experience and understanding of energy sector (oil and gas) plant/facility engineering for integrity assessment, design and remedial action development

Expertise and experience with ABAQUS linear and non-linear finite element modelling of mechanical and/or structural systems

Understanding of and practical experience applying fatigue, fracture and strength of materials concepts

Good communication skills including the ability to organize thoughts, data and prepare task and project reports

CanBIM certification or Autodesk certification is an asset and strongly preferred

5+ years working experience with REVIT

Experience in construction and/or consulting services an asset
