Supports product managers in end of life product decisions to maintain, refresh or retire products, services or systems

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

3-5+ years of IT architecture and solution integration experience

2+ years experience architecting solutions on cloud hosting providers, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, AWS.

3+ years of experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and building complex systems using microservices

Knowledge of various backend development languages like Java, Go and Python

10+ years of Experience at the project level in authoring Solution Assessment Proposal, Statement of Work, and Solution Design collaterals.

An Engineering Degree (Software/Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) degree is an asset ;

Professional Engineering designation is preferred

Background in physical and cloud-based data centres, infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery/high availability.

The project is creating a cloud-based data centre and migrating critical systems on-premises to this new environment.

Location: Etobicoke/Hybrid (1 day a week in office)

Project management experience an asset.

Familiar with application development methodologies, techniques and standards, configuration management, middleware, networking and communication, and hardware configuration
