Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and management.

Welding Skills: Must possess a 4-position CWB Welding ticket. Experience in welding, cutting, and brazing is mandatory.

Gas Handling: A valid Gas ticket would be considered an asset. Experience in handling gas equipment, cylinders, and related components.

Safety Compliance: Adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines. Experience in wearing and using safety gear, harnesses, helmets, and goggles.

Education: A minimum of a Grade 12 education or equivalency is required.

Core Competencies and Skills Required:

Must have at least 2 years of experience laboring in a shop environment

Operating Forklift or Skid Steer for yard clean up and moving parts around the yard

Helping mechanics with preventative maintenance

Will report to plant manager or lead hand operator. Work safely and report any and all unsafe actions.

Must be capable of shoveling, wheelbarrowing, pressure washing, sweeping and cleaning debris.

Relevant Australian trade qualifications in your field.

Mechanical candidates will be required to produce their qualifications.

Report daily and weekly on activity, problems found, and measures taken to maintain.

Operating and maintaining workshop equipment.

Following instructions to complete tasks, and the ability to work both in a team and independent environment.

General duties as per required to complete the job at hand.

Loads/unloads equipment and materials. Cleans and maintains equipment. Manages and maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Experience as a General Labourer working on a construction site is a bonus.

Trailer pulling experience an asset.

Sorts and moves materials, finished products and equipment.

Prepares tools and supplies for the job site.

Assists with pulling cable and installations of other electrical components as required.

Load and unload construction supplies from trucks manually and at times may be asked to use equipment.
