Servicenow Developer Or Technical Business Analyst Jobs in British Columbia

Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and ITIL principles is desirable.

Proven experience (typically 2+ years) as a Business Analyst, preferably with experience in ServiceNow projects.

Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.

Experience writing business test cases using testing frameworks.

Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.

Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into clear and concise requirements.

Must have a good overall depth of knowledge and business acumen surrounding OTC Derivatives products

Must have previous experience working on Technology focused programs as a Technical Analyst/Business Systems Analyst

Nice to Have Technical Skills:

Any exposure to Kafka/Elasticsearch (for future programs)

First Major Initiative - EMIR Refit (High level summary below):

There is an expected 3-6 month gap between ESMA and Expected FCA Reporting Start Dates.

Convey business requirements and design concepts with models such as gap analysis, use cases, prototypes, etc. as appropriate.

Manage and/or execute the UAT process by performing unit testing and obtaining business approvals on UAT for scheduled deployments.

5+ years experience working as a ServiceNow Business Analyst

Proficiency in capturing and documenting business requirements, functional specifications, test scenarios/scripts, data models and business procedures

Strong process flow and diagramming skills (Visio application)

Contribute in a collaborative way to the team with information-sharing and cooperation.

Strong technical solution management experience and skills

Reporting directly to senior management;

Applying application portfolio management techniques to manage multiple workstreams to identified transformation objectives;

Communicating with executives and senior management on sensitive changes to business operations in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment;
