Next Generation Sequencing experience a plus.

Prepare specimens for analysis and organizes tests to be performed.

Prepares and properly labels reagents required for laboratory testing.

Conduct genetic analysis of blood, saliva, dried blood spots or human tissue to determine presence of abnormal sequence changes.

Review test results for QC purposes, maintain legible work records, and enter findings into the laboratory information systems.

Maintain high level of customer account management and organization skills.

Associates Degree required or 1 year equivalent experience in electronics, laboratory/biomedical technology, or military experience in a technical field or equivalent.

Direct experience with Sysmex Hematology instruments in a service, applications, technical support, or other capacity would be desirable.

Prior field service or laboratory experience is preferred.

General computer knowledge in a Windows environment is required.

Overall Responsibilities And Key Accountabilities

Gain the knowledge required to provide technical direction and advice to team as required;

Working toward professional registration/certification or recently certified would be an asset.

Communicate and liase with client and project team and act as a contact for additional resources required by the client;

Lead daily pre-job meetings, routine progress meetings and post-job meetings which include safety and technical matters;

Lead and coordinate daily field activities and programs;

0-4 years industry experience in engineering or with an end-user.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel and Word).

Prepare electrical, instrumentation, and controls designs/drawings.

Read and interpret P&IDs for electrical and instrumentation design purposes.

Participate in on-site information gathering, and construction and commissioning support.

Basic computer skills and the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations are preferred.

Under strict supervision, learns basic safety and repair procedures on frac acid equipment.

Completes requisite training and demonstrates competency as defined for current and next level.

Assists in the clean up, repair, and preparation for a job.

May be asked to assist during the rigging up and down of service line equipment at the wellsite.

Experience with Auto CAD / Civil3D.

Must be certified or eligible for certification as an Engineering Technologist by O.A.C.E.T.T.

Advanced computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Must have good communication skills, oral and written.

Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

Customer service skills with the ability to deal with contractors and developers.
