Senior Total Rewards Analyst Jobs in Nova Scotia

Conduct job analysis and provide support to managers on the drafting of job descriptions for new and changed positions;

Liaise with supervisors on the accuracy of job content information and consistency of qualifications;

Provides support and recommendations to the hiring managers to ensure the job description translates effectively into the business needs;

Provide recommendations and guidance on information such as job description writing, job evaluation process, qualifications, and position titles;

In collaboration with the Manager, determine provisional job evaluation ratings for new civilian job classifications;

Monitor and ensure compliance with Pay Equity requirements;

Responsible for the overall management and administration of the group benefit program, including Health Benefits/LTD/Life Insurance/STD and OMERS pension plan.

Will be required to complete and remain current as per the requirements of the Corporation’s Management Certificate Program.

Will continually review and analyze current benefit programs and processes to make recommendations for program/process improvements.

Work with external Benefit Consultant to negotiate new terms and costs for all benefit programs.

Must have in-depth knowledge and expertise related to HR best practices.

Must have proven relationship building skills at all levels of the workforce and the organization.
