Possesses strong Health & Safety management system technical knowledge

Major project, Well Delivery, SAGD Operations, and Safety Management systems development/understanding experience is essential

Provide annual support to Company functions with their development of H&S management plans and business plan goals, objectives, and valid KPIs

Participate in risk management activities such as hazard and risk assessments, risk mitigation plan development / review, and audits & inspections

Education level, certifications, licenses - i.e. PEng, Steam Ticket etc.

Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience is an asset

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Advise and guide the development of Downstream strategic goals and plans to the CEO and members of Corporate and Executive Management.

Experience in at least one of the following Chemicals sectors: Basic Chemicals (Olefins or Aromatics) or Derivatives.

Global or multinational business experience with developed multicultural sensitivity.

Must have experience developing and delivering strategic insights, investment and market analysis, and business strategies for a major integrated downstream business.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.

Experience presenting to Corporate and Executive Management, the Board of Directors, and wider audiences.

Advise and guide the development of Downstream strategic goals and plans to the CEO and members of Corporate and Executive Management.

Experience in at least two of the following Downstream areas: Chemicals (preferred), refining, retail and fuels, and trading.

Global or multinational business experience with developed multicultural sensitivity.

Must have experience developing and delivering strategic insights, investment and market analysis, and business strategies for a major integrated downstream business.

Experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams to deliver business strategies and plans is desirable.

Demonstrated experience in project management and capacity to handle concurrent tasks and prioritize appropriately

Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, conflict management and problem-solving skills

Considerable experience with enterprise security systems as well as knowledge of local building codes as related to security systems design

Provide project management of installations and process improvement activities for system upgrades and development

A post-secondary degree, certification or diploma in Information Technology, electrical engineering, instrumental & control systems or similar technical discipline is required

10 years’ experience in the design, implementation and operation of integrated security systems

Collaborate with project management, teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field is required

10+ years of estimating experience in Mining, O&G, or other industries

Specialized knowledge of project control functions
