Teller or other position at a Canadian Bank (Branch office)

Familiar with daily financial transactions – cheque deposit, term deposit, line of credit, bank drafts, wires, loans, overdraft

The candidate requires to key all financial transaction entries as signed and instructed by his/her team members timely.

Throughout the day, it’s required to perform daylight overdraft limit checking for each client account at a specific time.

Acquiring product line knowledge on all of Spring Financial's programs and educating clients on the best use of such programs.

Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment an asset

Prior call center experience a plus, but not required

A diploma or degree and/or a combination of relevant experience

Conducting outbound calls to develop and maintain new accounts

Qualifying customers, verifying employment & credit status

Capacity to get along with different types and levels of individuals, including Senior Management/Executives.

5+ years of experience as a Commercial Account Manager

Apply a continuous-improvement approach to achieving superior client experience.

Manage time and priorities such that expired credits and expired newtons remain less than 10%.

Creative problem solving skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Teamwork and cooperation – building Partnerships with stakeholders; adaptability; knowledge transfer; relationship building

Must have experience with Data entry

Maximum 2-3 years of experience working in banking or financial services at the branch level

Knowledge of regulatory landscape and/or general policies around loans, financials, lending, etc.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High attention to detail and organizational skills

Proficient with Microsoft office (excel preferred)
