Contribute to process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.

Assisting in the preparation of investment reports to management

Providing support regarding strategic management planning and implementation including presenting and analyzing of internal controls

Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, audits, and any other quarterly/annual reporting requirements

3 years experience in similar role is required, Investment accounting experience is an asset

Excellent computer knowledge and MS Office (Word and Excel)

Strong decision making and problem solving skills

Minimum Five (5) years of experience in similar retail management field

Demonstrated experience in executing Sales Management Trainings and Presentations

Experience with buying & merchandising is preferred

Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills and the ability to influence partners and motivate direct reports

While not required, Italian, Spanish, French, Mandarin or other language skills are considered a strong asset

Proficiency with Retail Systems and Office programs, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting/finance experience in a medium size business or public accounting.

Post secondary degree education in Accounting

5 -7 years of accounting experience in a similar position required

Excellent attention to detail and multi tasking skills

Prepare entity level financial statements for TMI and related companies, as well as departmental reporting to support business/management requirements

Analyze expense variances to budget and previous year, monthly financial results, and prepare monthly management reports to support the same

Degree in Finance or a related field of study

5 years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting

Experience completing various accounting tasks including financial statement preparation, government remittances, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable processing, and general ledger processing

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Post-secondary degree in finance/accounting or related discipline

Experience with Quickbooks and Jonas accounting software
