Senior Facilitator Consultant Jobs

Business development and marketing experience in the context of environmental engineering, sustainability consulting, climate change management, or carbon pricing;

Strong project and client management skills and proven track record of building client relationships;

10+ years of experience in emissions quantification, preferably in GHG quantification and/or verification;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science or equivalent experience;

Experience in drafting reports and deliverables for senior management and executives.

Experience in Excel-based financial and GHG modeling using cost-benefit analysis and scenario planning to produce GHG abatement curves.

A Master's degree (MBA, MSc. or MEng.) is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with substantial relevant work experience.

Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the client's business and maintain strong client relationships.

Experience quantifying GHG emissions according to global best practices (e.g., GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1)

Manage client accounts including responsibility for overall client satisfaction.

Coordinate and manage client meeting programs and Hill Days.

Minimum 3 years combined experience working in government affairs or in a public policy capacity

Knowledge of the provincial Government decision-making process and the legislative processes.

Professional written and oral communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks.

Excellent communication, team work and analytical skills with a result orientation

Industrials, Mining, Natural Resources, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering experience a plus.

Maintenance and Asset reliability experience preferred

Stakeholder engagement skills across multiple industries

Experience with data analytics and analysis is considered a strong asset

You have experience with operations improvement including strong clinical workflows and operational processes across the care continuum  

Manage general administration inquiries from clients, excess insurance and medical evidence requirements, ex-gratia/cost-plus requests, and Legislative changes

5+ years’ experience in the Health Benefits industry, working with large clients

Provide interpretation and revision of contract wording (collective agreement requirements, specialized plans, etc.)

Mentorship and knowledge transfer with peers

Effective delegation and follow up skills

Maintain direct contact with clients/consultant, proactively planning client meetings to ensure regular connections are made

Strong numerical backgrounds are preferred, including Finance, Economics, Data Science Mathematics, Statistics, etc.

Experience in consulting, a start-up or other business environment beneficial, but not required

A robust analytical skillset, endless curiosity and a penchant to think the impossible

Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are important

Experience in methodology-based solution delivery and managing customers’ expectations.

Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a package and where appropriate.

Staff management– Input into performance review process of consultants and graduate consultants

Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset but not essential

Continuing Professional Development support whether that be for a professional qualification or within the Industry.

Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.
