Safety And Training Supervisor Jobs

3 to 5 years of tractor-trailer driving experience and Preventable Accident free for a minimum of three (3) years required

2 years’ cryogenics tanker experience a must

Knowledge of Cryogenics and Transportation of Dangerous Goods a must

Monitor employee enrollment and course completion, while also overseeing recertification and refresher training requirements.

Design training facilities that cater to the specific needs of each course, enhancing the effectiveness of the learning experience.

Coordinate and manage the delivery of training sessions to employees across the company, ensuring widespread participation.

Execute operational plans and objectives on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, in alignment with program requirements.

Previous working experience at DND sites and knowledge of DND Policy and procedures an asset.

Minimum two years experience with instructional technique/adult education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Experience with online educational formats and platforms.

Ability to effectively manage multiple and shifting priorities and reorganize workload as needed.

Experience in planning, organizing, coordination and monitoring training activities or programs.

Demonstrated experience in the delivery of training to both individuals and groups.

Conduct Needs Analysis – Identify training & assessment needs of shift personnel in conjunction with the HME Manager;

Participate in the skills development training and succession planning of Malian and B2Gold employees;

Transfer skills to the targeted national audience;

Higher Education Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Mechanics or Heavy Equipment Maintenance

5 years' maintenance and operation experience of Heavy Earthmoving Equipment (esp. CAT) working in a mining industry environment

Strong coaching and training skills

Strong multi-tasking capability and time management skills

Knowledge and experience in Health and Safety principles

Work with each department to schedule training including and ensure training and certification is completed

5-7 years of related experience

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to interact professional with individuals at all levels of the organization

Sound knowledge of the applicable regulations including OHSA, Human Rights, Labour Relations and ESA

Knowledge of good labour/management practices including progressive discipline and positive reinforcement techniques

Work with the local management teams to create and manage training matrix for the department/location

Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health & Safety requirements

Educational Background & Work Experience

Facilitate training and onboarding for newly hired associates and act as culture ambassador to support a positive associate experience

Coordinate with business partners, including Supply Chain Leadership Team, Training Specialists, Safety, and Human Relations to ensure associates complete all requirements

4 to 6 years previous management experience

Support the Trainer Certification Process by helping locations navigate the process for training a new trainer.

4 to 6 years transportation, safety or related experience

2 to 4 years training experience

Five (5) Years management experience in a safety and training /or occupational health & safety role, or training preferably in transportation

Works with staff and management to develop a proactive approach to safety problems while fostering positive employee relationships and morale

Sets the tone for ensuring all operators are current with training requirements of the company and client contract

Oversees corporate safety incentives and programs are managed effectively and consistently

Identifies, selects, trains, coaches and manages the performance of safety team

Communicates clearly staff member’s roles and responsibilities and provides support to help staff accomplish assigned objectives

7-10 years experience in a safety, health, and training leadership role.

Underground hard rock mining experience is highly desirable.

Minimum three (3) years experience with the development, implementation, and delivery of driver training.

Must be able to obtain Ministry of Transportation Signing Authority and Airbrake Instructor certifications within 6 months of hire.
