Risk Team Lead Jobs

Contribute to department planning and participate in ongoing educational opportunities to remain current on risk management and patient safety issues

Provide education and support on risk management, patient safety and infection prevention and control

1-3 years’ experience in risk management, patient safety

Previous experience in quality and risk management projects and initiatives.

Act as a resource/consultant for HCCSS Central staff related to risk management and patient safety issues

Provide risk management advice and support for high risk situations, complex cases and risk-related issues

Build the capabilities of the team to enhance their ability to achieve financial and operating strategy.

Participate in business development programs within area of specialty to enhance product knowledge

Registerable as the Branch Manager under the applicable securities legislation

A minimum of 8 years of mutual funds and operations experience within the financial services industry

Effective communication and customer service skills

Excellent interpersonal skills to support the building of strong relationships with diverse groups of people

Stakeholder and people management experience

Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications

Experience as Applications Development Manager

Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals

6-10 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry

Experience as senior level in an Applications Development role

What You Need To Know

Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.

Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Want to interact with business teams closely to understand how they operate and offer the best IT solutions.

Strong knowledge of core Java and multithreading (jdk11 and upper).

Experience with at least one of :(Oracle, MySql, Postgres, Mongo, Cassandra, etc).

Experience with at least one of MQ (Kafka, Tibco, Solace, etc).

Own performance management processes including building dashboards, monitoring, diagnosing, and reporting out on key trends across Risk

Experience developing processes and policy + managing programs/projects

A passion for Risk teams, programs and policy; past experience preferred not but required

Lead development of Risk strategy and planning, which will increase operational efficiency and reduce exposure to fraud and defaults

Develop and refine policy for programs with significant customer and business impact

Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategy to ensure success of team and joint company goals
