Risk Data Management Jobs

Contribute to department planning and participate in ongoing educational opportunities to remain current on risk management and patient safety issues

Provide education and support on risk management, patient safety and infection prevention and control

1-3 years’ experience in risk management, patient safety

Previous experience in quality and risk management projects and initiatives.

Act as a resource/consultant for HCCSS Central staff related to risk management and patient safety issues

Provide risk management advice and support for high risk situations, complex cases and risk-related issues

Office related responsibilities, such as supply management, timesheets, disbursements, petty cash, etc

Demonstrated experience in database or software system management preferred

In-depth knowledge of Risk Management (claims, insurance) practices preferred

Working knowledge of Sharepoint, Clarity, Wellspring or other content management software preferred

Superior time management, organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail

Provide administrative support to the Manager, Risk Management

Certificate in Risk Management (CRM) or equivalent risk management designation or related experience

Minimum 13 years demonstrated risk management leadership experience in a large, complex, institutional, unionized work environment or similarly sized community;

Previous demonstrated risk management leadership experience in a large, complex, institutional, unionized work environment or similarly sized community.

Experience Necessary To Fulfill The Requirements Of The Position.

Oversees the corporate insurance portfolio and coordinates processes for College legal affairs (excluding labour relations).

Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent professional security designation would be an asset

Familiar or experience with SAP, RPA, visualization & analytics tools and/or other emerging technologies 

A strategic, pro-active person with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information to produce clear and concise presentations and reports

More comfortable working in a team environment with a strong desire to connect with people

Polished verbal and written communication skills, including experience in preparing and presenting reports to various levels of management

7+ years of experience in Compliance, Risk Management and/or Internal Audit in the financial industry

Contribute to the drafting and management of policies and procedures and analytics

Management and Board reporting as required

Data Management/Health Informatics Diploma Required, Degree Preferred

Knowledge of Health Information Systems (HIS) and workflows, SQL, Tableau Prep

Knowledge of data validation and testing, data quality assurance

Ability to develop requirements and build reports

Ability to be resourceful and demonstrate problem solving skills

· 6+ years relevant experience in Data, Risk management or related field

· Excellent skills in preparing professional presentation materials (e.g. Powerpoint) for senior management.

Role : Risk Data Management

· Experience in a data governance program in the financial services industry is preferred.

· Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes

· Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
