Retail Inventory Analyst Jobs in Manitoba

Prior experience in FP&A for an apparel-based or CPG retail company

Experience partnering with senior leadership to share business insights and support them in understanding the business

Strong planning, organization, self-motivation, problem solving and analytic skills

Prepare and analyze store P&Ls monthly to understand the unique business drivers of each store location and major cost variances

Work closely with the Global FP&A and Accounting teams to prepare monthly accruals, month-end variance analysis, and close commentary

Assist in building business cases, models, post-event analysis, and other ad-hoc analysis to support initiatives in the North American market

Experience with using retail application software (e.g., POS, inventory management, etc.)

Document and manage issues on in-house ticket management application system

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Have a minimum 1 year of direct customer support experience via phone and online

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for someone with the following skills/qualifications;

Manage inventory levels for forecasting purposes

Responsibilities of the Inventory Analyst include the following;

Negotiate competitive prices and ensure shipped in adequate timing

Reconcile open purchase orders and supplies

High school diploma preferred; not required

2 – 3 years experience in inventory control or other finance related role

Fashion retail & wholesale experience an asset

Experience working with retail stores

7+ years’ experience in the retail industry in supply chain and/or merchandise planning

Strong problem solving and decision-making skills in ambiguous environment
