Overview Restoration Technicians are responsible for restoring damaged or destroyed property to its original condition. They use a variety of tools and techniques to repair, rebuild, and restore damaged structures, furniture, and other items. They may also be responsible for cleaning up hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead, and mold. Detailed Job Description Restoration Technicians are responsible for assessing the damage to a property and determining the best course of action for restoring it. They must be knowledgeable in a variety of repair and restoration techniques, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and painting. They must also be able to identify and remove hazardous materials, such as asbestos, lead, and mold. They must be able to work with a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, and plastic. They must also be able to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents. Job Skills Required• Knowledge of repair and restoration techniques

Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a related field
• Certification in a related field (e.g., asbestos abatement, lead abatement, etc.)
• Valid driver’s license
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of repair and restoration techniques
• Knowledge of safety protocols
• Knowledge of hazardous materials
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
Job Experience
• Previous experience in a related field
• Experience working with a variety of materials
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and other technical documents
Job Responsibilities
