Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Manage the warranty service program and conciliation according to set objectives for service repairs and warranty items identified form

Excellent management skills and customer service skills

Manage the Decor/Design Studio as well as Department, Coordinators and Administrators

Educate themselves with product knowledge

Minimum of 10 years work experience in the residential new-home construction industry, primarily in low-rise.

Experience with *Newstar software system*

Experience working as a skills trade person, and with a post-secondary education in construction management.

Maintain project documentation in construction management software such as meeting minutes, concerns addressed, cost controls, and concerns with scheduling or quality.

Minimum of five years’ construction supervisor/superintendent level experience building multi-family and multi-level commercial projects.

Knowledge of interpreting, coordinating, and analyzing blueprints and shop drawings for discrepancies.

Experience in reviewing and coordinating subcontracts with tender documents.

Good understanding of local building code requirements.

Produce deficiency reports and follow up with sites and the company to ensure a smooth turnover to Asset Management

Create and update reports for, but not limited to, QC and Construction Management

Experience in residential construction industry in a relevant trade

Some knowledge of MS Office Suite and computer-related peripherals

Perform and maintain construction inspections and schedules

Analyze and ensure the execution of the work is being performed up to quality standards

2 years’ experience in residential construction

Experience operating a zoom boom and skid steer

Ability to ensure quality and safety of all work performed

Willingness and ability to perform physical labour duties

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

What you need to be successful:

Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience.

Ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of emergency procedures including fire, flood and mould remediation for all staff.

Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all maintenance systems (pumps, emergency generators, HVAC, boilers, chillers, swimming pools, sprinklers, etc.).

Oversee capital project activities on site and advise the Property Manager of any concern.

Strong interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Experience in inspecting quality of workmanship and thoroughness.

5 years of experience in residential roofing inspection

Good understanding of safety policies and safe work while ensuring that all safety rules are always being followed

Work at Height Certificate and WSB

$200 a day flat rate daily regardless of number of appointments+ $100 per each claim approved

Will receive a maximum of 5 appointments per day

Average weekly commission is $3000
