Ability to analyze, communicate, and negotiate the requirements and constraints of both technical and business perspectives.

Implement region-wide local sourcing and procurement initiatives and work with corporate category management regional requirements.

Facilitate a supplier management program to identify and close gaps, partnering with leadership and frontline teams to achieve the most value

Provide feedback and solutions from operations to enable continuous improvement within the Procurement and Supplier Management team

Partner with facility leadership, and corporate partners to define process, system, optimization requirements, and capture process improvement feedback

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

Job Title: Procurement Delivery Manager

This position is part of the Research & Development Procurement team reporting into the Procurement Delivery Lead - Clinical.

To be successful as Procurement Manager, you should possess the following experience:

Salary - CAD$100,000 to CAD$120,000 per annum + bonus & benefits

Location – Toronto, Ontario (Remote working)

Professional certification from a recognized and accredited supply management associate or institute

Working knowledge of business management principles and practices

A university degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, or other relevant field of study

Work with clients to offer creative business solutions

Use well-developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information, influence others, build relationships, and work collaboratively

Experience in public procurement is preferred

Experience working with multiple teams on multiple projects

RFP drafting and proposal evaluations

Ongoing supplier planning and strategy

Record keeping of all contracts
