Manages business requirements for Order Management

1-3 years of relevant experience in procurement management, supply chain management, category management or consulting

Experience in commodity or supply chain management, and contract management

Will provide management updates on supplier performance and team productivity

Develops a vendor management strategy to “right size” the supply strategy for the region

Contributes for spend category management strategies and action plans

1-2 years of working in logistics and inventory management

Automotive industry experience is an asset

Strong proficiency and experience using the Microsoft Office suite

Problem-solving and data analysis skills

Implement region-wide local sourcing and procurement initiatives and work with corporate category management regional requirements.

Facilitate a supplier management program to identify and close gaps, partnering with leadership and frontline teams to achieve the most value

Provide feedback and solutions from operations to enable continuous improvement within the Procurement and Supplier Management team

Partner with facility leadership, and corporate partners to define process, system, optimization requirements, and capture process improvement feedback

Minimum 5 years of related experience managing/supervising direct reports

Experience with Ariba/Sage/DBS/Lawson system/MRP or equivalent ERP system

Demonstrated knowledge of emerging fleet management technologies and best practices

Manages vendor performance to contract requirements for the Fleet department

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment leveraging excellence in time management

Review major repairs, with Fleet Manager prior to proceeding to assess suitability based on vehicle repair history, age, utilization, and mileage

Oversee and manage the schedules, day-to-day activities, and inspections for the mechanics in shop

Work with operations and other departments to ensure that equipment requirements are met

Controls tools inventory management through cycle counts and stock adjustments.

Manage the consumables and inventory process for the company:

Help with ongoing certification of our attachments.

Sell unutilized materials and equipment as instructed by the Fleet Manager.

Post-secondary education in industry related topics

More than 10 years of experience in logistics management;

Solid experience in sales or customer management (see online...);

Group insurance (including a health management account!)

Continuing education offered throughout the year

Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain working relationships;

Evaluate and ensure the quality of the logistics services provided, follow up where required and make recommendations to improve performance;
