Quality Assurance New Product Specialist Jobs in Alberta

Support the development and management of sampling and analyzer budgets

Manage and optimize quality sampling systems and online quality instrumentation

Provide Project support with a perspective on product quality requirements

5+ years’ experience in the petroleum industry working in a similar role or in the midstream business

Experience with petroleum lab analyses, instrumentation, and quality control sampling equipment (i.e., manual/composite samplers and chromatographs)

Problem solving, troubleshooting and failure analysis/investigation skills

Participate in plant trials and other related duties and responsibilities assigned

Post-secondary education in Food Science, Microbiology, process engineering or a related discipline ( Candidates applying must be a recent graduate)

Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) programs, GMP programs and Quality Systems

Experience with BRC an asset

New commodity review and approval and commodity property database management

Management of 3rd party laboratory testing

Depending on qualifications, the successful candidate may be offered a position at a more appropriate level and/or ladder.

Collaborate with field staff to manage field gaugers labs

4+ years of related experience

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
