Data-Intensive Analytics: Strong experience in QA of data-intensive analytics applications, preferably in a high-automation cloud-native environment

1) Knowledge of an application for Unstructured Data Governance (Sailpoint FAM or similar) will be an asset.

Inspection of incoming parts in accordance with relevant purchasing, engineering, and quality requirements

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role within a manufacturing/machine shop environment.

Knowledge of quality control principles, techniques and tools, including statistical process control, root cause analysis, and inspection techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Building your skills in new areas like Azure CI/CD pipeline, Mobile App automation framework, Selenium, BDD Framework, etc.

Versed and keen with test automation approaches and experiences with common tools.

Analytical capabilities to evaluate test results.

Designing and executing functional tests in Core Banking System / Applications in a complex integrated test environment.

Executing automated regression test cases in the CI pipeline, troubleshooting issues, and collating of test results of all assigned test areas.

Building scripts and tools to implement and continuously improve test automation.

• Execute test cases and report defects, including translating issues to management and communicating with BAs

• Participate in management and stakeholder meetings as required

• Experience and understanding of SDLC from requirement gathering through to post deployment

• Effective communications and coordination with team members including Developers, Engineers, and management Team

• Location: Vancouver - Up to 100% Remote, but candidate must be located in the Vancouver area

• Analyze business and technical requirements

Experience with the Jira requirements management system

Experience in Product Management is an asset

Proficiency in test management software (e.g. Zephyr)

Computer proficiency; Linux literate; CLI experience

Significant experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

Experience in QA methodology and experimental design

Strong communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Communicate QA-related information with all levels of the organization, including senior management.

Develop and manage the QA team to ensure quality standards are met.

Create and implement quality control procedures to protect the customer experience.

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Lead or similar role.

Working knowledge of agile methodologies and software development processes.

Devise and execute training to develop and elevate skills within the team

10+ years of experience in QA

5+ years of experience as QA Lead

Experience assessing risk and determining appropriate levels of testing

Demonstrated skills using GitLab and JIRA

Excellent presentation skills to present ideas to the working team and organization including testing topics to quality assurance peer group
