Must have solid understanding of Electrical Code requirements

Proficient with computer skills in MS Office products

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ensure the QC documentation is completed for PTW's turnover package as required by the client.

Update and complete QA/QC database for turnover to the client and PTW corporate offices upon completion of the project.

Ensure red line drawings are completed to client specifications and properly filed with document control for field issue.

Verify coating with client specification & project requirements;

Communicate with the client when requested by the manager and/or supervisor;

Valid tickets and qualifications and other documents to be filed

Perform tasks specified by his/her supervisor and/or department coordinator;

Identify and analyse customer needs;

Plan and prepare work to be completed onsite at the client’s location (documents, equipment);

Ability to prepare reports and present findings to Liberty Operations Management.

Other tasks and responsibilities as may be developed, including conducting inspections on construction projects, and other such tasks.

Working at heights training and/or certification is an asset.

Experience in the Wind/Solar Energy Industry preferred.

Lead or assist in the development and completion of Lessons learned and continuous improvement efforts.

Lead, conduct or participate in end of warranty inspection processes.

Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Outlook and Word) and relevant software.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent team skills, customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Knowledge of the Provincial Offences Act and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

A satisfactory Police Record Check required at time of offer.

Support the proactive enforcement of the Shared Rental Housing Program.

Implementation the Dormant Permits Program.

Various other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager or other designated leadership members

1-2 years’ experience working in quality assurance

Experience working with residential and commercial construction.

Knowledge of building code an asset

Knowledge of production policies, procedures, and safety measures.

·Familiar with AISC, CISC and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems requirements; legislation, quality codes and standards.

·Demonstrates strong analytical/numeracy skills, attention to detail and accuracy

·Minimum combination of 10 years Quality / Structural steel fabrication experience

·Must have good knowledge of Structural and Bridge Welding Code (CSA W59, W47.1, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.5)

·High school or higher education

·Journeyman Welder or Fitter experience is a plus, but not required

Able to interact with all levels of management

Assist in welder & craftsmen training with regard to Quality requirements.

A minimum of 5 years of industrial construction experience

Must have previous experience developing I.T.P's and completing final turnover.

Knowledge and/or experience using CPeT-IT

Great computer skills, with ability to swiftly learn new softwares.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.

Ability to work with multiple project team members who are in remote locations.

Experience in using SharePoint, Teams, Dropbox and Outlook.
