The Geotech Drilling Group of Companies provides industry leading geotechnical, environmental, construction and exploration drilling services by providing a safe working environment for solution minded personnel, maintained and current equipment, and long-term client relationships.

The Jr Data QAQC is responsible for overseeing the data flow, processing geotechnical data, performing quality checks, cross correlating data, plotting and reporting data to clients.

Responsibilities

• Create and release reports to clients.
• Work with field engineers to ensure all data is accounted for.
• Processing of geotechnical data, primarily CPT, PPDT, Seismic and VST, using softwares such as CPeT-IT, SPAS, SDMT Pro and Excel.

Skills & Requirements

• Communicate in an articulate and respectful manner.
• B.Sc., preferably in Geosciences or Engineering.
• Great computer skills, with ability to swiftly learn new softwares.
• Ability to work with multiple project team members who are in remote locations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large data sets, and multi task.

Nice to Have

• Experience in using SharePoint, Teams, Dropbox and Outlook.
• Knowledge and/or experience using CPeT-IT
