Project Quality Engineer Jobs

Communicates the progress of programs and projects to Managers and other senior staff within the Environmental Programs and Assessment department.

Experience supervising/overseeing work assignments and day-to-day completion of tasks by a team of junior staff.

Strong coordination skills and the ability to work on complex projects under pressure to meet schedule and budget commitments.

Experience reviewing scopes of work, budgets and guiding the work of external environmental consultants.

Oversees and leads environmental due diligence strategy on the planning of future Subway transit infrastructure construction projects.

Reviews and evaluates consultant work, ensuring ongoing adherence to project terms of reference and deliverables.

As a Quality member of the project team, works in project platform and participates in project management;

Be a good motivator and team player, to know how to rally a team, share experience and expertise;

Quality Manager within the project: responsible for the quality level of the client deliverables;

Prepares project reviews (PMT) with the Project Manager by summarizing all Quality actions;

Animates the QRQC project with the Project Manager and guarantees its good involvement;

Coordinates the preparation of Customer visits with the Project Manager;

Execute planning, work management, problem solving, decision making and negotiating skills, supplemented with a practical proficiency.

Delegated responsibilities that support the Supervisor and Manager of Quality.

Early engagement with Project teams to conduct the Quality Engagement and prepare the Project Quality Management Plan for construction activities.

Support quality issues management tools such Quality Enhancement Reporting and Quality Incident Notifications.

Manage and Coordinate management of change of specifications, standards, forms, etc

Someone who has a technical and working knowledge of design and construction, standards, codes, and regulatory requirements associated with Enbridge Projects.

Create and ensure Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) are in compliance with project requirements.

5-8 years’ experience in heavy construction projects.

Firm knowledge of construction codes and standards CSA, ISO, ASME, API, AWWA and others in relation to the project.

Work closely with project teams to develop and implement the quality system to ensure thorough understanding of the scope and schedule.

Detailed knowledge of project management including cost control, scheduling, codes, standards, specifications, corporate procedures, contract documents and applicable contract legislation.

Support the process of collection, and classification of all Quality Management System records.

Proficiency in the use of project management software and computer applications is essential.

Knowledge of the theory, principles and practices of civil engineering and architecture.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and think analytically.

Coordinate and participate on project quality audits and/or surveillance at the sites checking the quality processes, procedures, and paperwork.
