Possesses a minimum of 10+ years’ experience at the Controller/Management level within commercial/industrial real estate management or a related field.

Collaborate closely with the leadership team, offering advice, valuable insights, and recommendations to ensure timely and relevant budget preparation.

Provide support to the VP, Finance, in managing the company's tax planning initiatives, including liaising with external advisors as necessary.

Manage cash flows and working capital through ongoing forecasting and analysis.

Provide monthly cash flow analysis to the CFO and MD offering valuable insights.

Collaborate closely with the Property Managers, maintaining property budgets and reconciliations.

Increase the company ability to anticipate business issues and drive good decision making through sound financial management and controls.

Experience in government funding; lead and satisfy all SRED/IRAP filing requirements.

Responsible for treasury and cash management.

Solid experience leading, managing and expanding accounting and finance departments in a fast- paced environment.

Strong knowledge and understanding of financial reporting requirements.

Assistance with ad-hoc projects and new initiatives, as required. For example, additional reporting for Marketing, Sales, and various management requirements.

Prepare annual budget and management reporting to track progress throughout the year.

Participate in process improvement initiatives, including automation, accounting system assessment, and management reporting.

Perform cash projections to effectively manage cash balances and maximize the return on any excess cash balances.

Respond to inquiries from the outsourced tax team to support tax requirements.

CPA designation is required with at least 8 years of progressive accounting experience.

Leading the planning and execution of finance-related projects related to system implementations, process improvements and change management

You have 5 - 7 years of experience as a Project Manager; PMP certification preferred

Establishing project briefs or statements of work in collaboration with project stakeholders and Program Management

Driving continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies

You have excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts and requirements

You have excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
