Project Control Coordinator Jobs in Alberta

• Knowledge and experience with project and portfolio management processes, policies and principles

• Minimum Qualifications 2 year of Project Support experience

• Support Vendors on process and technology requirements

• Proven knowledge of Cost Controlling methods

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Cost reports and forecast experience

Experience providing program co-ordination support for a large, diverse program with an established program management framework

Experience in the use of collaboration management tools such as Microsoft Teams

Knowledge of Project Management best practices

Certification from project management accreditation body such as PMI (Project management Institute) or PRINCE2

Maintain program management artefacts in alignment with the established program management framework and methodologies

Co-ordinate and contribute to reporting and briefing materials for various levels of management

Work closely with Project Controls Manager about control budget and potential deviations

Minimum 8 years of experience in project controls in the oil and gas industry

We're looking for an experience Project Analyst to join our team!

Assist with preparing work orders and estimating cost

Build long term financial and budgeting plans for the project

Carry out cost variance and root cause analysis including the use of contractor data

Intermediate knowledge of work orders, estimating cost including Work cost structure creation, management, and strategy

Support purchase requests with required backup, vendor quotes, and in alignment with supply chain management standards

Be knowledgeable of and adhere to all finance policies, ensuring that spending is in line with capital and/or expense guidelines

Project management courses or certificates are an asset

SAP skills and SAP visualization are needed. Knowledge of SAP Project system is required.

Prepare preliminary monthly reporting on incurred cost and schedule forecast for Project (and/or) execution Manager’s review and approval
