· Extensive experience in leading large-scale greenfield construction projects, preferably in the manufacturing or energy sector.

Five or more years working in a technical manager role

Experience managing both IT and Business workstreams

4. Stakeholder Relationship Management – 30%

Position: Sr. Manager of Core Modernization Program Delivery

Location: 1 day a month if needed in Markham – otherwise remote

Role Title & Department; Sr. Manager, Program Delivery Lead – Core Modernization

• Financial accountability for overseeing budgets (managed directly by Directors) including forecasts, actuals, and business cases.

Client: Enterprise Insurance Client - Canada

Excellent project management and time management skills.

Own and manage various administrative responsibilities.

Coordinate & facilitate bi-weekly update for Steerco & manage the overall agenda.

Strong communications skills (both verbal and written).

Proven balance of analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with business partners.

Knowledge of project management skills and theory, principles, techniques and applications, to provide expert operational leadership and advice to executive management.

Extensive management experience leading and developing corporate projects and strategy with the broader public sector.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset

Experience in a multi-jurisdictional context to lead teams, and re-align activities to meet priorities;

Experience with the principles behind business process re-engineering, managing change, and what is required to make projects successful

Apply political acuity and to identify opportunities and risks. Monitor risks, constraints and contingencies to avoid additional costs, penalties and delays.

Understanding of project management methodology and continuous improvement processes.

Provides subject matter expert advice and recommendations applying current knowledge of best practices and applicable legislative, regulatory and professional standards.

Manages information in accordance with legislation and corporate standards.

Demonstrated experience and ability to meet deadlines while coordinating and responding to immediate research needs in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated coordination skills to foster co-operative and collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams and staff at all levels of the organization.

Demonstrated analytical skills to analyse and synthesize information.
