2+ years of experience with landscape and administration

Valid driver's license with active auto insurance

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Fluency in Spanish and English

full-time Administrator - Yard Labor Coordinator

Supports the management team on adhering to the terms of the collective agreement.

Communicates key People (HR) messages and programs to management teams.

Proactively works with teams on process improvements in areas of employee and labour relations, engagement, conflict resolution and workforce management.

Advises management of potential employee issues and oversees the investigation required to successfully work through employee issues.

Participates in investigations and makes recommendations to management.

Develops and trains management on employee relations best practices, including the progressive discipline process.

Comply with all Health and Safety Requirements established by Worley

Post-secondary education would be preferred

LR courses/certifications would be considered as an asset

Solid knowledge of Provincial and Federal labour relations practices

Working knowledge of construction industry and the LR exposure contained in this business segment.

A combination of union and construction contractor experience is preferred.

Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.

Sound knowledge of construction and practical experience with tools.

Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills

Moving materials to the worksite and ensuring all tools, machinery, and other equipment are safely set up.

Operating equipment like drills, saw, shovels, and other heavy machinery.

Assisting with various window removal and roofing demo procedures.

Develop and present informational briefings for management to improve understanding of labour relations and collective agreements

Assist management during crisis situations, such as labor strikes, to facilitate effective negotiations and resolve issues quickly

University degree in Industrial Relations, Law (labour and employment law profile), Human Resources or equivalent work experience

Strong knowledge of employment laws and different trends that govern labour relations in Ontario.

Independently assess, investigate and manage ER/LR cases, ensuring consistency and alignment to established compliance regulations and organizations policies and processes.

2-5 years of experience in Employee Relations or Human Resources.

Knowledge of how to read and interpret collective agreements (local and mainly BC based).

Expert knowledge of employment law and labour law (within the various countries ER/LR supports).
