In-depth experience using demand-planning and ERP systems, as well as the ability to synthesize large amounts of data creating management reports.

Works closely with cross-functional supply management teams and buyers on all supply-related matters regarding assigned products and customer needs affecting forecasts.

Proven track record of success in similar and related Supply Chain Management roles.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data to solve issues or improve processes.

Able to manage multiple, high-profile product lines with little or no supervision.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to professionally present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Interface with Program Management to stay abreast of Customer priorities

* Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the EHS policy and management system

* 2 years of relevant experience.

* In absence of a degree 6 years of relevant experience is required

* Previous ERP experience (i.e. JD Edwards, Impressa, SAP) would be preferred

Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP and lean manufacturing processes

Certification in purchasing (CPP) or production/inventory management (i.e., CPIM) is an asset.

Manage backorders and immediate supply issues that impact production schedules and communicating accordingly during regular scheduled Production/Supply meetings.

Manage Supplier Change Requests and co-ordinate internal change processes.

Assists/lead in the setting of budgetary component requirements and CIP’s.

At least 5 years' progressive Purchasing & Planning experience

Project management skills, with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.

5+ years of experience in a similar purchasing role, working with warehousing/manufacturing (Jansan industry preferred)

ERP experience required (SAP preferred)

Ability to interpret analytical data for decision making. Strong forecasting and mathematical skills.

Continuously assess the cost and quality of goods that are received and shipped.

Maintain inventory forecasts and ensure accurate data and item set-up for SAP.
